Welcome to my little corner of the internet. I’m Tracy, the face & voice behind Let the Ink Dry.
After 18 years as a secondary English teacher, I'm bringing my passion for words and creativity out of the classroom and into your business.
Words are my superpower. With a Masters in Gothic Literature and a copywriting diploma on top of my undergrad English degree, I’m in the perfect position to support you with writing and creative tasks you find impossible to fit in.
I'm particularly passionate about supporting women-run businesses that themselves empower other women. I believe in the power of women supporting women and creating ripples of positive change.
Life Beyond the Laptop
When I'm not crafting words or designing in Canva, you'll find me planning my next travel adventure. I write a blog about solo female travel for women over 40 and love nothing more than planning and exploring new places. Maybe one day I’ll write a travel book…
Currently I’m based in Shetland - the UK's northernmost point. I love learning, I’m a bit of a geek tbh: a National Trust loving, book reading, afternoon tea, type of nerd. If that sounds like your kind of person, let’s connect.

As a writer myself, I recognize that your brand voice is your most valuable asset. I take the time to understand your voice, your audience, and your goals, then create content, whether visually or through words, that looks & sounds authentically like you.
